Hope kim

Hope is a Boston based actor, originally from Chicago, IL

Hope started singing from when she was able to walk, finding a passion for music when her mom would play nursery rhymes on the piano while they sang along. They began to pick up instruments at 8 years old and learned to play 6 instruments by the age of 18. When Hope discovered musicals at 14, she realized performing brought her joy in ways nothing else could.

Hope is a proud second generation Korean American who is eager to tell stories through the lens of underrepresented and silenced voices domestically and internationally! They find joy and enlightenment by collaborating with other artists and prioritizes community first.

Hope will be graduating with their BFA in Musical Theatre from Emerson College in May 2026 and is INCREDIBLY thrilled to begin their journey.
